Discuss the precautions you might take as a manager of a new project, in building a project team to assure that the project does not get "off on the wrong foot

As a manager for a new project, I would review each employees employee file and personality assessment to ensure understanding of personality types and experience of each member of the group. I would then engage each member of the staff individually at first to build a rapport with each employee and gain trust and respect. After I would get the group together as a brainstorming session to determine the compatibility of the group as a whole and to analyze any outliers that I might have missed in the initial group research. After everyone has engaged we would begin allocating workload and group processes to ensure overall efficiency and productivity.
