We tend to use the term "research" in common language to represent a broad range of activities from simple internet surfing to traditional laboratory experiments and everything in between.
You may have recently researched a topic of personal interest. Perhaps it was related to which degree to seek, which branch of the military to join, which career to pursue, which car to purchase, which neighborhood to purchase a home in, or other decisions you needed to make.
When you personally research a topic, it is something inherently interesting to you. In order to make an informed decision, you research that topic to learn as much as you can.
In this discussion, introduce yourself by briefly telling your classmates your definition of research and something you recently researched.
You may submit your response in a written format or as a video. If you choose to submit a video response, please review the detailed instructions and resources for Canvas Studio (ERAU). (Links to an external site.)
Post your initial response by the fourth day of the module week. Be sure to address all of the required elements listed thoroughly. All posts should be free of spelling and grammar mistakes.
Return at least once later in the module week to review two or more of your classmates' initial posts. Provide feedback to a classmate that has not received any. Once all classmates have received feedback, you may provide additional comments to others.
