Probably the most defining characteristics of a population are A. population density and population distribution. These two characteristics describe how many individuals there are within a population and where these individuals are located, which descriptions can lead to understandings of interactions among individuals in the population. Even with these two statistics, however, it is very difficult to note the qualitative descriptions of a population.
