A managers job is to ensure proper production and oversight of their department. A manager fits in where needed to clear bottlenecks, production disruptions, and as necessary to ensure the job is accomplished. As a result, this may result in a manager performing clerical duties, helping other accomplishing work goals, maintaining records and generating a report, and supervising groups rather than individual employees. The overall daily duties of the managerial role should give the manager a sense of personal achievement.
