This means that nothing in a communist society is truly ''yours''; you do not own a home or vehicle but rather receive them from the government. A communist society has no wealthy or poor people, providing equal rights and responsibilities to all citizens. The communist economy is planned by the government, rather than allowed to grow naturally. While these principles guide communist theory, some nations have changed them; China, for example, is a communist nation but allows private ownership and has a market economy.
