The organization of the Army Safety Program supports the concept that the responsibility of safety lies with commanders at all levels. This includes company, battalion, brigade and division. Safety is seen as a commander's duty and it is the commanders responsibility to ensure not only the safety of the soldiers but also of their equipment.
