The United States has a varied economy. It works according to an economic system that features of both capitalism and socialism. The United States of America is a union of 50 states in North America. It is one of the world's largest financial prudence and is considered a mixed economy. That means it activates as a free market economy in user goods and business services. But, even in those areas, the government imposes regulations to protect the good of all. It operates as a command economy in defence, in some superannuation benefits, in some medical care, and in other areas. The U.S. Constitution created and protects America's mixed economy.

v The United States Constitution states

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquillity, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

v Establish justice means to provide equal privileges of justice for all, insuring domestic tranquillity basically means peace between the states, defence is defence of the country, endorse the general welfare means the government should encourage laws and actions that promote the health, peace, ethics, and safety of its citizens, and secure the blessings of liberty was for the government to protect the country's hard-earned rights for liberty, unfair laws, and freedom from a oppressive government.

v If the United States Government did it right, there would be no downtrodden. Every citizen would relish the same equal justice, the same dedications of liberty, the same protection for health, peace, safety, unjust laws, freedom from tyranny, and the facility to live one’s life affording to one’s own ability.

v Inopportunely, we do not have and we may never have this grand design of the Constitution. Therefore, in an effort to try to accomplish these lofty ideas we have to create laws that protect the least among us from the worst among us. Social programs are planned to provide those who cannot afford for themselves and their families safeties inspired by the Constitution.

v People pay for roads, police, fire, courts, jails, and even sporting places which they never use. They do not mind paying for these (except for sporting venues but that is for another time) because I know they benefit indirectly from them while others benefit more directly. They don’t begrudge neighbour for using more of the road than I do because he has a bigger vehicle or drives more. The Constitution does not apply to only certain people, it applies to every person and the US government should work tougher to make that happen.
