What - create a props list pulled from a play
Points - 50
Due - 29 Nov 2020
Instructions:
1. Read a play from the options provided below
2. As you read the play, mark down on the excel sheet provided when a prop is mentioned. Be sure to include the Act #, Scene #, pg #, what the prop is, who uses it, and any notes about the prop. (Does it have to work? If it's food, does it get eaten? Does there need to be actual liquid in the mugs? Does the sink have to drain/run water? etc.)
Act | Scene | Pg # | What is the prop | Who uses it | Description | Notes |
3. Submit the props list through the Canvas assignment (Can be uploaded as google sheets, excel, or pdf. Please no MAC files.)
Note - I have read all these plays and will be going through to check your work. This is an exercise to see how detailed your reading is and, after weeks of watching plays and talking about live theater, what you think is needed for the production.
It's easiest if you have the sheet up on your computer as you're reading the play so you can enter the props as you're reading, instead of having to go back after you've read the play.
