Ans1) - The U.S is famous for over spending on health care, spends more per person on medical care than any other country .This is 3 times more as compared with most developed nations in the world .The U.S has higher medical care expenses per person than any other country,and this proves that U.S System is wasteful because The United states spend more than $10,000 per person on health care , the U.S. ranks 12th in life expectancy among the 12 wealthiest industrialized countries. U.S. Health care costs are so high just because they don't have universal health care . In U.S , health care run through buisness Pharmaceuticals are buisnesses , Insurance companies are buisnesses , Doctor's offices are buisness .
let's considered the reason behind that why U.S Health care is so expensive :-
1)Acc.to researchers ,Doctors get paid more for example Specialists, nurses , primary care doctors all are paid high income in U.S as compared to other developed countries.
2)Drugs markets are too costly ,when we compared U.S spent with other developed countries like France, canada Switzerland , U.S. spent $1,443 per capita
and Switzerland spent $939 and rest countries spent $749 per capita .

3)When we compared other cost like MRI in the united states was $950 compared with Australia is $350and $410 in netherland .
Each year, health care payers and providers in the United States spend about $550 billion on billing related to health care

Ans 2 - Dental is not covered in Universal health insurance because according to health insurance law , Medicare will not pay for dental services, except under very limited circumstances. Under Section 1862(a)(12) of the Social Security Act, Medicare will not make payments:

For dental services , minimum 24hrs hospitalization is mandatory , when pateint hospitalized more than 24 hrs and require dental treatment because of accident or due to other disease or illness when it causes dental problems ,only than it will be covered but if pateint want exclusively dental service only than it will not covered or it can be covered if you have an option of copayment for dental services under the policy on certain limits only .
