Answer:
Goldman in "plain sex" tries to explain the purpose of the sex. According to him there is no cultural, moral or social implications of the sex rather it has personal ones. He has discovered the common factors of the sexual desires and tries to explain it in simplest form. He explained that sexual activity is initiated by a person for fulfilling his personal desires which may be the communication, reproduction or the happiness that he wants or feels with the physical contact with body of another person. The explanation of sex by goldman is criticized by the critics on the ground that the sex may not be for fulfulling the desire of communication, reproduction purpose of making contact with another person's body. They said that sex is not the mean of communication, and sex cannot be resulted in reproduction sometimes it is just kissing etc as described by golman itself.
