Therefore, I believe by taking a course in the Maritime industry I will stand in a better position to understanding the operations of the maritime industry and how the industry is regulated. Moreover, since my childhood, I had the passion to become one of the most famous business people with international connections. My inspiration developed after reading many articles and learning how vehicle importers and other business persons from my country would do business globally and generate huge returns. For this reason, I became more anxious and developed a high interest in the maritime industry.

Therefore, by studying the Bachelor of Science Maritime Business and Management, I believe I am going to gain better insight into the industry. better skills and knowledge on how the Maritime industry operates and what requirements and skills are required of me to become an operation manager in one of the ports and terminals in my country and business person. Thus, I am certain the course is a core and an enabler that can prepare me physically, emotionally, psychologically and academically to venture into the industry.

There are quite a number of reasons for my choice to study BSc Maritime Business and Management at Liverpool John Moores University. These can be explained better by a comparison between Liverpool John Moores University and any other university in the UK. In this case, I'm comparing and contrasting Liverpool John Moores University and Plymouth University.

To begin with, we look at the similarities between the two institutions. Both institutions have the same five core modules for the first year. These modules include Economics for Business,&nbsp.International Maritime Business, Maritime Law and Logistics, Maritime Business Skills and Principles of Logistics and Freight Transport (Plymouth University, n.d.. JMU, n.d.).
