Find something interesting which relates to Physical Geography that you can find in the local area (within a three-hour drive) OR

Option 2:

Follow these steps to complete your assignment.  You have two options

Option 1: Submit jpeg photo and textbox entry

  1. Select your photo
  2. Ensure that it is in the correct JPEG format
  3. Upload your photo into the “Physical Geography in the Real World Photo” Canvas Assignment
  4. In the Assignment’s textbox, enter your answers to the four following questions. Leave a space in the textbook between each question:
    1. What your photo is about? Your answer should provide a thorough detailed explanation of your photo’s topic.
    2. Where was your photo taken? Your answer should provide detailed information explaining the location where your photo was taken.  Latitude and longitude or a short descriptive paragraph will suffice.
    3. Write a paragraph in which you thoroughly explain what geographical processes created the scenery which you photographed. If your photo is not about a process, include whatever geographic description is needed to explain what your photo has captured.
    4. Why did you choose that photo? Your answer should include an articulate explanation on why you chose that photo.
    5. How does your photo relate to Physical Geography as presented in semester lecture? Your answer should include which specific textbook chapter, topic, lecture, or PowerPoint your photo relates to.

Option 2: Submit a Word doc or PDF

  1. Select your photo and copy into a Word doc.
  2. On your Word doc answer to the following questions:
    1. What your photo is about? Your answer should provide a thorough detailed explanation of your photo’s topic.
    2. Where was your photo taken? Your answer should provide detailed information explaining the location where your photo was taken.  Latitude and longitude or a short descriptive paragraph will suffice.
    3. Write a paragraph in which you thoroughly explain what geographical processes created the scenery which you photographed. If your photo is not about a process, include whatever geographic description is needed to explain what your photo has captured.
