Mrs  L , an 82-year-old woman, lives alone in a senior apartment complex. You are assigned to visit her once a week for a medication setup. She says she went home with her son “for a few days to visit” but cannot remember when she returned. She says she is “worried about money.” She has very little food in the refrigerator. She is not wearing her TED socks. Her vision is quite poor, and she does not like to wear her hearing aid. She says her dentures “hurt her mouth.” Her blood pressure is 210/148 mm Hg.
