reduced to a buffet of material objects that can be consumed—like sushi, tapas, and masala to exoticize and spice
up life; culture is experienced as an accessory effortlessly put on and taken off at whim—as if wearing the hijab, a
bindi or dreads is solely a fashion statement devoid of material conditions and consequences, and culture is
constructed as a playground—like Las Vegas, Santa Fe, or Disneyland—where admission to performances of
cultural fantasies are gained through money and the suspension of lived experiences of difference

Your Answer:

With the cultural hegemony, the supply patter of merchandise appears in an unbalanced way. To the culture that is considered lower than the hegemony, the supply which contains those cultural is barely seen on the market. People tend to look up and consumption the merchandise that comes from the culture of the dominant. Not in the other way!
