Internal Analysis Assignment

I want you to tell me how you would conduct an internal analysis for your company. First, tell us what your company is and what they do (1-2 sentences).

Then I want 3 examples of resources that would help you determine your Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.

For Example:

My company is UNT Dallas. We are a 4-year higher education university in the city of Dallas.

Strengths:

1. I would get an enrollment report to determine which majors are most popular and the breakdown of each major by classification.
2. I would get the recruitment and retention data to see what high schools and community colleges are we recruiting best from, and what degrees have the highest retention rates
3. I would work with our financial department to determine what our highest ROIs are and how much money we had to invest back into our campus

You would do something like this for all 4 units. Remember, this is an internal analysis. Everything should come from within your company. You could also do things like focus groups or employee feedback surveys to get you specific data. You need at least 12 items total.
