This is for the design of a "Settingless" Protective Relay for transmission lines with distance protection as backup. I need to take information from a given file COMTRADE (Common format for Transient Data Exchange for power systems) and bring it into Matlab to run calculations and models. I have already developed a matlab code to bring that data in, I need assistance performing the remaining tasks. The remaining tasks are outlined in the attached word document on page 5. The appendix provides instructions on which equations to put into matlab for the calculations and proper models to be created. I have also developed a skeleton code that begins implementing this code. I need assistance finishing up the code with tasks 2 & 3. I've provided all my code up until now, an example dataset, and the instructions and help. Extra Info: My code currently plots the waveforms of the signals. That is just to confirm the code was reading the data from the COMTRADE file correctly. I just need the Matlab code (with annotated comments) that will take that data, and perform the calculations from the formulas that are shared in Task 2 and 3 (and Appendix A), and output the solutions/results. I do NOT need a written report completed. It is systems protection, so having background knowledge of power systems in electrical engineering will help you understand what variables the formulas relate to when developing the code. skeleton.m is a draft code that I began but it is a work in progress. It was code that was shared by another student as an simple example to help with this assignment. The values/formulas/equations in the skeleton.m will all need to be updated because that was for a different electrical system. The code for the other one or "568004071_Assignment_Transmission_line" is the matlab file that brings in the COMTRADE data by having the browse to the .CFG and .DAT files. If it makes it easier to be one file, or use one as a function, I will leave that up to you
