We can be embarrassed that we had a president that abused his power and used corruption as a political tool.

or we can focus on the notion that our system works (U.S. Constitution) and America was able to remove a president who was obviously abusing his power.  The founding fathers were concerned about possible abusive leaders and they created checks and balances in the U.S. Constitution.  The impeachment process is part of this separation of powers.

 Which camp do you fall into in terms of the Big story of Watergate?  Embarrassed about Nixon behavior during Watergate or satisfied that the system worked?
