Directions: Public education has changed dramatically over the years. You will design a presentation highlighting some of these significant changes. You need to include 8-10 content slides, not including the title and references/sources slides. You will need 3-5 scholarly sources to validate and support your thoughts and ideas. You will research and describe the following components of the history in public education in the United States:

  1. At least 5 significant landmark cases in American education
  2. Democracy in education
  3. Diversity and Immigration (including undocumented immigrants)
  4. Equity and equality
  5. At least 3 common types of public schools, past and/or present
  6. At least 3 Federal Education Acts
  7. How teaching has changed over the past 100 years
  8. An element of education that still needs to change in education and why

Make sure your presentation is creative, visually appealing, uses appropriate graphics and images, and follows APA formatting.
