Respond to this discussion activity by constructing a one-paragraph argument with a *specific* claim, a robust quote from the play, and an analysis of how the quote supports your claim. Choose from one of the following topics about character. (For your quote, include in parentheses Act--, Scene--, lines --- - ----; do not put the page number.

• Iago's character in terms of his initial motivation,
• Roderigo's character in terms of his motivation,
• Brabantio's character in terms of his view of Othello,
• Othello's character and his self-defense to Brabatio,
• Brabatio's character and his warning to Othello,
• Iago's character and his views on will and power,
• Iago's character and his views on women, or
• Othello's character and his treatment of Cassio.
