Chemistry

Finally, the lessons are over but the activities aren't. Don't worry, it is still simple and it won't cost you too much. All you need are two (2) small glasses each have equal volume capacity of water and a corn starch. WHAT TO DO: Fill both glasses with water. It doesn't have to be full. Just half of it is enough. Label each glass. Glass A and Glass B. In Glass A, mix at least three (3) spoon full of corn starch and begin mixing until corn starch is thoroughly mixed in water. In Glass B, mix at least five (5) spoon full of com starch and begin mixing until corn starch is thoroughly mixed in water. Observe each changes in the physical state of the liquid in each glass. 1. Which has more solute in measurement? Glass A or Glass B? Why? 2. Which solution has a thicker texture? Glass A or Glass B? Why do you think so? 3. Is Glass A more colligative than in Glass B? Why or why not? 4. Is it important in becoming aware of the changes of a solution or a mixture in terms of the number of solutes being dissolved in a solvent, particularly, in cooking, etc.? Why?
