PART A: Topic: Choose any topic that concerns the Middle East that interests you. My topic is: Comparison of Muslim high school life and Chinese high school life Detail requirement: In a 2- to 3- page paper, please give a detailed outline of the topic you have chosen for Paper. You will have to do research, and you will also have to think critically about the topic. On the first page, write two summary paragraphs: one paragraph explaining the background of your argument, and one paragraph giving the details of your arguments. On the second page, give a detailed outline of the paper, paragraph by paragraph. On the third page, give a detailed bibliography of at least five sources. List the source, in a typical bibliographic entry, then write two or three sentences explaining why the source is listed here—what does it contribute to your paper that the other sources do not? Title page: Choose a title that makes a statement about the topic you are treating. 2. Introduction with thesis statement: Write an introductory page on the topic o Introduce the basic topic: What is the background? o Introduce the problem: What about this topic needs to be solved or explained or fixed? o Note your intervention: What are you going to do about this problem?
