I am having a final paper (literature review)for a physiology class

Psychology

I am having a final paper (literature review)for a physiology class. It requires linking my own topic which would be about behavioral investors/accounting or any topic in business in making their financial decision. Please follow the instruction in the Final Paper Assignment instructions. I uploaded some of the assigned readings for this class to give you an idea about how to cover some of them. When people do learn information, they may process it in a biased (or defensive or motivated) manner. These readings dive into the ways people might interpret information in biased ways. Please make sure not to use them as references for this paper. The papers I uploaded are talking about Biased Information Processing. I need to address them in a certain business topic(ex: investors behavior". I recommend seeing if you can find a couple of classic papers on the anchoring effect and reading those too. Then, you can think about how that research applies to the topic you are interested in. In the final version of the paper, I think you also want to be really clear in how the papers you found can inform research on "your topic"

•             Submit the your final paper and your SAS or Stata code.

•             Name them  [your_last_name]_termpaper_draft.xxx, and  [your_last_name]_termpaper_code.xxx.

•             The paper should be written in the format of an academic paper. You all must have seen what they look like.

INSTRUCTION for the PAPER: 100 points for the paper

•             If your name is not on the paper, I will deduct 10 points.

•             If you don’t indent the beginning of each paragraph, I will deduct 5 points for each paragraph.

•             If you include SAS or Stata output directly rather than making tables suitable for a paper, I will deduct 5 points for each table.

•             Make it double-spaced. I need to comment between lines.

•             Do not write about things that are not directly relevant. Do not show summary statistics just for the sake of summary statistics. Only show those that motivate your analysis.

•             Same for writing. Don't just write everything that comes to your mind. Write what's relevant and write cohesively.

•             This notes on academic writing has more detailed notes on what’s expected in introduction and data appendix and other rules you should follow as you draft a paper. You will lose some points if you do not follow the instructions on that document.

•             I have made a lot of comments on your proposal and midterm papers. If those comments are not addressed in your final paper, you will not get full credit. Consider this as a Revise & Resubmit (R&R) process.

•             Don't just write and submit. Re-read your finished paper multiple times before you submit. Revise multiple times to smooth out your writing.  In practice, we would do a read-through about 20 times (if not more) before we call a paper a "draft" and make it publicly available.

INSTRUCTION for your CODES: 50 points for the codes

•             You can use either SAS or Stata (not both). Nothing else is allowed. Anything other than SAS or Stata will not be graded.

•             You cannot clean data using Excel before importing to SAS or Stata. Everything must be done in either SAS or Stata.

•             Your codes must be readable and comprehensible. Write your codes and comments FOR ME, not you. Use line breaks between different tasks. Make headlines for big tasks. Again, your codes must be organized enough so I can easily follow. Organization is part of your grade.

•             Comment generously. Too much commenting is better than too little. If I don’t understand what you are doing, you would not get credits for what you did.
