For this assignment 1. Prepare a power point lesson plan on how you would teach the Sixth Amendment. Your power points should include: All the key points from the 6th Amendment; Explanation of the concepts and definitions of terms using words and pictures and images. Examples of each of the rights provided in the 6th Amendment Create a class discussion exercise or questions you would ask the class to help them understand the 6th Amendment. The key is - you must explain the amendment - what each protection states and what it protects and how it protects. What could be the consequences if the 6th Amendment was not included in the Bill of Rights? 10 points There should be at least one power point slide for each separate protection under the 6th Amendment and for each protection - answer these questions When does this specific right/protection apply? 5 points Who is protected and under what circumstances? 5 points Where would this amendment apply - meaning where do the rights of this amendment apply to protect people as in timing and location? 5 points How does this amendment protect the people? 5 points Are there any exceptions or any limits to this amendment as to when it does not apply its protection? 5 points Address and define new vocabulary terms. 5 points Raise questions for students to consider. 5 points Use examples to help students understand the concepts and vocabulary words. 5 points Clever use pictures, artwork, photographs to illustrate your points. 15 points Extra 10 points for attempting this assignment and giving it your best effort =)
