They aim to make a difference in people’s lives fueled by their passion for God. Every life is valuable, and their mission is to make sure everyone feels that way. The company has many missions such as taking care of refugees, giving individuals in poverty the tools to start their own business, and caring for widows and children. Global Partners in Peace and Development visits homes, create lasting friendships, financially support individuals, and make sure those they work with know how much God loves them. Their focus is in Haiti, Jordan, India, Uganda, and Slovakia. None of the modes of entry stuck out to me for Global Partners in Peace and Development. Perhaps they are using a combination of modes of entry, such as exporting and facilitating. Facilitators help to manage an information exchange and exporting sends goods abroad to be sold. What distinctives should a Christian business espouse when considering outsourcing manufacturing and product development? How could a Christian business use outsourcing to help support poor nations and economies, global missions, and evangelism? Write a brief essay answering both questions. Philippians 2:4 God states, “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also the interest of others.” Remembering this scripture when considering outsourcing manufacturing, product development, and/or general business is essential, as it will help one consider the needs of the other party and take into consideration their current circumstances and/or situations. Furthermore, as Christians our calling is to help, which in this case is specified too that of supporting poor nations and economies, global missions, and that of evangelism. All three of these categories may seem overwhelming to some and might lead one to pick an easy way out, although hard work is necessary to find an effective solution for both parties. Proverbs 16:3 states, “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” Talking to Him and seeking guidance will give any individual the motivation and drive they may need to continue the task at hand, and He will provide more than one can imagine! As we know that “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me,” Philippians 4:13. Not only will one be supporting another party, but spreading the word of God as well by sharing how He has helped you along the way; and how He provided the resources and guidance to effectively provide them with basic necessities as well.
