M7D1: Stability and Global Connections

In the past six weeks, we have seen varying levels of chaos and conflict as societies changed, went to war, and fought to establish a stable presence. This week, we can see how a number of societies across Afro-Eurasia reached stability. As a result of this stability, this period witnessed significant advances in technology, particularly in maritime navigation, which began to impact the connectivity between societies across the globe. In this discussion, we will explore some of these stable societies and how they contributed to the growing global connections.

Begin by viewing the Module Presentation and reading Chapter 10 in your textbook. Consider the following questions in a post of at least 250 words:

• In your initial post, choose one of the following societies:
