As an account manager for Dart Marketing Solutions, you are working on a presentation about App Metrics to give to your technology clients. Change the design of the presentation as follows to use the company's standard design for tech clients:
a. Apply the custom theme from the file Support_PPT19_CS1-2a_Tech.potx to all the slides in the presentation.
b. Change the theme colors to Blue.

Insert a footer as follows to identify the name of the company throughout the presentation:
a. Include the slide number in the footer.
b. Enter Dart Marketing as the footer text.
c. Display the footer on all slides except the title slide.

On Slide 1, enter App Metrics in the title placeholder to provide a title for the presentation.

On Slide 2 ("What to Measure"), insert and format a picture as follows to illustrate the content on the slide:
a. Use the content placeholder on the left to insert the picture Support_PPT19_CS1-2a_App.jpg.
b. Add a Blue, Accent 1 picture border to separate the picture from the slide background.

With Slide 2 still displayed, increase the indent of the list items "Downloads" and "Frequency of use" in the bulleted list to use a more logical arrangement.

Remaining on Slide 2, add and modify animations on the slide as follows to make the content more lively:
a. Remove the animation from the slide title.
b. Animate the content placeholder on the right using the Float In Entrance animation. [Mac Hint – Float In Moderate animation.]
c. Change the direction of the animation to Float Down.
d. Change the Start setting to After Previous so that the animation plays after the slide appears.

On Slide 3 ("User Engagement"), format the picture as follows to provide more visual interest:
a. Resize the picture to a height of 2.7".
b. Apply the Center Shadow Rectangle picture style.
c. Crop the picture to the Arrow: Pentagon shape in the Block Arrows section of the Crop to Shape gallery. [Mac Hint – Pentagon shape.]

With Slide 3 still displayed, edit the alt text for the picture by changing it to Two users engaging with mobile apps. which more accurately describes the picture.

Remaining on Slide 3, decrease the indent of the list item "App downloads" to display it as a major topic on the slide.

Still on Slide 3, insert a shape as follows to provide a tip about user engagement:
a. Insert an Arrow: Pentagon shape from the Block Arrows section of the shape gallery to the right of the picture. [Mac Hint – Pentagon shape].
b. Resize the shape to a height of 2.7" and a width of 4.05".
c. Enter the following text in the shape:
Tip: Small changes can mean big results.
d. Flip the shape horizontally so that it mirrors the shape of the picture on the left.
e. Apply the Subtle Effect—Blue, Accent 1 shape style.
f. Apply the Shadow: Offset Center shape effect from the Outer section of the Shadow gallery.
g. Use Smart Guides to position the shape as shown in Figure 1.

On Slide 4 ("Active User Metrics"), insert SmartArt as follows to make the four types of user metrics more memorable:
a. Convert the bulleted list on the left to the Basic Matrix SmartArt.
b. Apply the Convex shape effect from the Bevel gallery to the entire SmartArt.

With Slide 4 still displayed, modify and format the text on the right to make it more visually appealing:
a. Delete the text "Active user metrics" because it repeats the slide title.
b. Bold the remaining text ("DAU/MAU = Stickiness ratio").
c. Change the font size to 32 point.
d. Apply the Offset: Center shadow text effect from the Outer section of the Shadow gallery.

Remaining on Slide 4, enter the following slide note as a reminder to define a term:
Stickiness is how often users engage with the app.

On Slide 5 ("Customer Satisfaction Metrics"), change the slide layout to Picture with Caption to create more impact with the slide.

Remaining on Slide 5, compress the picture using the E-mail (96 ppi) setting to reduce the file size of the presentation.

On Slide 6 ("User Reviews"), modify the table as follows to complete the content:
a. Delete the blank row in the table (row 3).
b. Add a column to the right side of the table.
c. In row 1 of the new column, type 1 star as the column heading.
d. In row 2 of the new column, type 2 as the column data.

Remaining on Slide 6, format the table as follows to improve its appearance:
a. Apply the Medium Style 4—Accent 1 table style.
b. Select a table style option to apply special formatting to the header row.
c. Center all of the table content horizontally and vertically.
d. Align the table in the center of the slide.

With Slide 6 still displayed, fill the pentagon shape on the right with the picture Support_PPT19_CS1-2a_User.jpg to balance the slide.

Add a slide to the presentation as follows:
a. Insert a new slide 7 using the Title Only layout.
b. Enter User Retention as the slide title.
c. Copy the chart from the presentation Support_PPT19_CS1-2a_Chart.pptx and paste it in the slide using the destination theme.

On Slide 8 ("User Recordings"), use the Thesaurus to replace the word "approval" with a more common synonym beginning with the letter "c".

With Slide 8 still displayed, use the content placeholder to insert the video Support_PPT19_CS1-2a_Video.mp4 to illustrate the topic of the slide.

Remaining on Slide 8, shorten the video and change its settings to make it easy for viewers to play the video:
a. Trim the video so it ends at 15.000 seconds.
b. Set the video to start playing Automatically and to Rewind after Playing.

On Slide 9 ("For More Information"), rotate the picture of dart to the right 90° so that the arrow points toward the bottom of the slide.

24.

Remaining on Slide 9, emphasize the company name instead of the email address as follows:
a. Change the font color of the text "Dart Marketing Solutions" to Lime, Accent 6.
b. Remove the hyperlink from the email address.

Apply the Reveal transition from the Subtle section of the Transitions gallery to all the slides in the presentation.

26.

On Slide 1 ("App Metrics"), create a more dramatic transition for the title slide as follows:
a. Apply the Doors transition from the Exciting section of the Transitions gallery to the title slide only.
b. Play the Whoosh sound with the transition.
c. Change the Effect Option to Horizontal.
d. Change the Duration to 2.00 seconds.

Check the spelling in the presentation to identify and correct any spelling errors.
