The Fences looks like a decent play if only the people realized that it's not a comedy. The actors did a good job delivering their lines but the emotion is just not there enough. It had the potential to be an impactful moment, but it feels like a live sketch for a scene that's supposed to be serious. The backgrounds are good and really compliments the theme of this play. Hamilton 2020 looks really good. The background fits great for a setting like Hamilton, even though you can't see a lot of details on the set. The delivery of his lines fits the mood that this play is going for. The music and the lyrics are also great.  A streetcar named desire is the most interesting play out of all the clips. This play goes for a round stage with a building on it which is alright, but the lack of walls makes an interesting setting. The acting is relaxed and the delivery of their lines really fits. Midsummer night's dream just looks overplayed and cheap. I don't know what the actors are doing in this scene because the actors are just meshing together and it looks like a mess. The background is just lazy with the curtains being trees and props on the stage. The writing is true to Shakespeare, but the overacting in each dialogue is just frustrating to sit through and the flair of humor in between the lines makes it worse. Shakespeare makes great and memorable stories, but the adaptations on live theaters just seems overly try hard and I really can't stand that.
