Instructions 
Analysis assignments using a concept from each unit of the course (EACH worth 9% of course grade). 3+ pages or 7+ minutes. Choose one course concept from the relevant unit of the course (e.g., the material before exam 1 for the first assignment). Imagine you are a consultant who has been charged with understanding and improving the organization, and today you are going to use this concept as your foundation. I want to see, based on your assignment, that understanding this concept has given you some concrete ideas about how to improve your organization. 
Your assignment should include the following information: 1. Define or explain the concept in your own words. 2. Apply the concept: explain how something happening in the organization is relevant to this concept. What specifically have you observed that fits? Be concrete; use specific stories/anecdotes to illustrate the concept if possible. 3. Use the concept: what have we learned about this concept, other than its definition? Use this to explain a current problem (or strength) of the organization. 4. Make recommendations: based on this analysis, what specific changes would you make? What would a concrete plan look like for making these changes? • I want you to be as constructive and realistic as possible in this section. Again, imagine you are a consultant and the managers are expecting you to come up with some real, actionable recommendations. 
You could answer these questions in one sentence each, but that would not give you a chance to go into enough depth. The length guideline is meant to give you a sense of how much detail and depth I am looking for. If you do not have enough to say, I encourage you to choose topic.
