BA 3301 Legal Environment of Buisness CurrentEventInstructions The purpose of the current events presentation is two-fold: • • First, for you to apply the material discussed in class to “real life” experiences. Second, for you to increase your presentation skills. *Themes for current events are determined by the chapter reading topics within the assigned readings. Presentation dates will be listed within Blackboard. 1. Find a news article published within twelve (12) months of the due date from a major newspaper or an official online business source (i.e., The WallStreet Journal, The New York Times, CNN,etc.). a. Presentations on news articles more than eighteen (12) month previous will not be graded unless approved prior to your beginning the assignment. The Chapter topics are broad; please choose a theme and/or topical subject matter and select a subtopic within your chapter that relates to your chosen current event article. Thecurrenteventcanbeaboutaspecificbusiness,person,businessprocess,technology, etc. The article should highlight an issue related to a legal business topic that can be discussed within the assigned chapter. b. c. 2. Students must wear business casual attire. c. Each presenter will be given presentation/hostrights during the presentation so practice using Zoom.
