Your boss has asked you to represent the organization in regards to participating on an industry research panel on quality measures. There is an expectation that all participants submit any required work before the initial meeting.
Your job is to create an APA reference list that contains ten to twelve total research articles. The requirement is that five of the articles are focused on quality management, and the other five are centered on quality measures. Along with the reference list, please submit a paragraph describing the process you used for selecting the articles, and what criteria you used in the search process in order to prepare for the industry research panel.

INTERNAL ASSESSMENT SURVEY 1 Internal Assessment Survey Student Name University Course Professor Name Date INTERNAL ASSESSMENT SURVEY 2 In this report, I have provided detailed research I conducted aimed at developing a global request for collecting and making comparisons of steel suppliers for management. This research and the collected data would be used to develop a survey to assist the management team in pinpointing the requirements or what they expect from a supplier. I have developed an internal data collection tool that assists in collecting relevant data and information. There are ten question guides that identify the suppliers' cost, safety, volume, and location. Additionally, I developed a Gantt chart to assist in tracking activities or actions throughout the project. Also, the action list, risk management tools, and the minutes of the meeting are included mainly to assist in effective project planning and coordination. Effective development and management of the project plan based on my skills as an emerging leader require several actions. First, the first approach will entail defining and explaining the project plan to the stakeholders and shareholders of the project and describing the core components of the project plan. A project manager must plan on the best strategies or approaches that will be undertaken to meet the goals of the project and establish the project course. The roles and responsibilities of the project participants must also be explained and defined by the manager. Effectiveness and efficiency of the process and execution of tasks are achieved by assigning specific duties and responsibilities to the project members and participants (Larson, 2012). As a project leader, it is critical for me to host a kick-off meeting to unite the shareholders, stakeholders, and members who will significantly help develop a relevant and effective scope statement. This approach is very critical as it helps lay a strong foundation for the planning process. Development of effective statement scope is critical as it is a determinant of project success or failure. Statement scope is considered a project basis. Thus, used mostly to define the project to ensure the stakeholders and the shareholders understand the final outcome of the project. INTERNAL ASSESSMENT SURVEY 3 I developed a Gantt chart to assist in tracking activities throughout the period of the project and to aid in tracking and monitoring tasks required for project completion and project survey development. The plan is scheduled for one week to complete. This phase of the project is critical and requires to be carried throughout the timeframe of the project. The second step after the first is information and data collection that requires a maximum of ten days to its completion. The data and information collected will be valuable to the management team for effective and proper project planning. The management team is obligated to understand the entire project and its constituents to comprehend the expectations of the project. As an emerging leader, I will develop a team that will help in completing several project tasks. I will also ensure that tasks and responsibilities are delegated to the members or participants to ensure that tasks are efficiently completed. Additionally, it is paramount to conduct a preliminary survey for the project. The survey will be developed from information and data collected in this research. Visiting suppliers and management is also a priority to collect more information and data for the research. After the research completion, the data and information that had been collected will be compiled and analysis conducted. The analysis results will be used to formulate project survey questions. Development of questions and survey completion takes place in the last phase of the project. The last task to be executed is the presentation of the final plan of the project to the team of management to decide whether the survey may be done to collect data and feedback or not. For effective execution of the project, an action list, minutes of the meeting, and effective risk management strategies or approaches are required (Larson, 2012). For this project’s purpose, the status of the project report describes, in a nutshell, the activities and the stipulated dates that they will be completed. This helps in providing summaries of the current project position. Additionally, it assists in identifying and managing risks and eradicating their INTERNAL ASSESSMENT SURVEY 4 influences on the project’s success. Minutes of the meeting are also essential in communicating different agendas and topics discussed to obtain the objectives of the project. It is also very important to create a Likert scale to help the management team have a clear image of the requirements that are expected of the suppliers. The questions developed focused on the location, security, cost, and volume of the supplier. Each theme is critical in getting new or evaluating existing suppliers. The four areas where the questions focus on are essential because they are effective in evaluating and covering any supplier. Likert scales are majorly for scaling purposes in a survey. It also allows respondents to effectively communicate their level of disagreement and agreement with a given agenda or motion (Lewandowski, 2020). Project survey provides a broader perspective of research to assist the management team in assessing and evaluate the eligibility of the suppliers. The subsequent sections indicate the Likert research for suppliers that I developed for my project. For every question in the below table, the respondent will circle the answer that best corresponds to their feeling concerning the statements in which 1 denotes strongly agree, 2 denotes disagree, 3 denotes whether an individual disagree or disagree, and 5 denotes strongly disagree. Questions Strongly Disagree 1. Are quotes and final charges from 1 suppliers accurate? 2. Are payment terms negotiable? 1 3. Do suppliers offer product liability 1 insurance? 4.
