Students should submit their final research proposal formatted in APA style (7th edition) here. The research proposal must include an introduction with at least 5 references to peer-reviewed research, a methods section that describes exact details for how the study will be carried out (with an appendix that includes any materials that would be needed to carry out the study), a results section that describes the statistical analyses that would be applied to analyze the data, and a discussion section that describes the expected results, the theoretical implications of the research, the practical implications of the research, the potential limitations of the study, and suggestions for future research. The report must be 8-10 pages in length, excluding the title page, abstract, references, and appendix.

It might be useful to use Lab 4 as a template for your research proposal to ensure that you follow APA formatting standards for a student paper. Just know that you should not have a results section because you should not be gathering any data for your research proposal.
