PROJECT STEPS

1.

Youth Entrepreneurs Start-Up provides online training for first-time start-up

businesses. Recently, the company began a new outreach campaign in local

communities to teach aspiring entrepreneurs how to pitch an online service

application for funding. To reinforce the start-up feel of the presentation, merge

two shapes as described below:

a.

On Slide 2 (“Apps Drive the Service Industry”), select the gray gear and

green circle shapes, and then use the align commands to align the center

of the shapes.

b.

Use the align commands to align the middle of the shapes to each other.

c.

Deselect the shapes, select the green circle and the gray gear shapes in

that order, and then apply the

Combine

merge shape command.

d.

Resize the green gear Shape so that it is

1.6"

high and

1.5"

wide, and

then use Smart Guides to align it to the title and chart as shown in Figure

1 on the next page.
