Your critical assignment presentation should include the following:

1. What is public health? Articulate a definition and discuss its general philosophy, and its core values.

2. Identify and describe several common social determinants of health, including how they influence health outcomes.

3. Describe what is meant by health equity, and why it is essential for positive health outcomes. How does this concept relate to a Christian perspective?

4. Describe the roles of governmental and non-governmental institutions in shaping population health outcomes.

5. Discuss the three core public health functions, and how they relate to essential public health services.

6. Briefly describe the history of public health, including key events and accomplishments from antiquity through today.

The presentation must be clear, objective, engaging, and contain both audio narrations throughout and relevant visual images throughout. This presentation should reflect the highest quality work and effort you turn in this session. While there is no minimum or maximum length required, most comprehensive attempts come in about 25-35 minutes in length.
