To begin with, introduction of privatization idea majorly affects decision making in public policy in several ways. The anarchial organization of public sectors is different from the private section which is disorganized and this alone affects whole decision-making process. Public management have policies that are meant to unravel specific problems regardless of it being gainful or not. Owing to the increased demands for high returns that privatization brings about, losses are considered. The whole process of decision making in public strategy is altered by reintroducing privatization which is concerned with profit driven goals rather than that of delivering services (Shields, 2018).

However, privatization can be of great significance, for instance when they provide internet services to individuals households. In undertaking business, the private sector has proven more effective and reliable and this is the reason why government is keen to partner with this sector. Even the services offered by the private sector are of high quality and reliable as compared to those offered by the public sector. Furthermore, private sector provides more quality services when compared to those in the public section. Reaching of social goals is highly enhanced through the formation of partnership between the government and the private sector.

For instance, such partnership can result to easy access of fast and standard internet services at a subsidized cost. In areas where the state services are not easily accessible, the idea of reintroducing privatization becomes the best option as these limited services are accessible at this point (Macher et al., 2015).
