An aging workforce in which over 70% of employees will be retiring in the next year. Note: You read that right… The Manager of Recruitment believes that it is beneficial to hire older workers. Therefore, most of the workforce is nearing or at retirement age. Issues with lacking DEI, specifically since most employees are older white males. Note: Over 93.5% of the workforce is white. All of the individuals who are in leadership roles, with the exception of your friend, are males. Issues with low morale/low motivation levels, which can be attributed to problematic workplace practices/a poor workplace culture. Note: Most individuals say that they are overworked and underpaid.
