assignment, you will create an infographic on the theme E?ectively using leadership theory. The result will demonstrate your ability to integrate and correctly apply the foundational concepts of leadership presented in course Module 1.
Procedure
To complete the project, you will move through the tasks below. While they look like sequential steps, infographic designers move back and forth between tasks for optimal results.
Select your scope or topic. The topic will be re?ected in the title of your infographic.
Develop your message. Successful infographics analyze and evaluate large ?elds of knowledge and create new patterns of insight. Developing 20-25 pieces of information (facts, analysis, conclusions) you want to include is crucial. Playing back course concepts accurately is necessary, but is not su?cient. Above all, your infographic should do at least one (preferably more) of the following:
Apply one or more course concepts to a situation found in practice (e.g., Team Leadership in the Neonatal ICU )
Combine two or more course concepts in a synthesis where the whole is more than the sum of the parts (e.g., Developing Leader Traits to Accelerate LMX )
Evaluate one or more course concepts using other knowledge from the course (e.g., Why Transformational and Situational Leadership Are (Not) Compatible )
Select your software. While infographics can be created in PowerPoint, many students prefer to use
