Additional Guidelines:

1. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, you may write
about pre-recorded (YouTube) or Live-
Stream concerts.

2. Paper must include:

1. Name of Performer(s)/Group
2. Date of event/concert
3. Place/venue of event/concert
4. The URL (or web address) of the
concert
5. Each Event Critique is a 300-word
(one to two pages) review, and must
be submitted in a format compatible
with Microsoft Word.

2. MS Word, WordPerfect,
PostScript, PDF, HTML, RTF and
plain text
Due to the current Covid-19 outbreak, It is
difficult to attend live concerts; therefore these
concerts can be "virtual concerts," or videos
such as those found on YouTube. The concert
that you watch is your choice. There are many
great concerts out there, including NPR Tiny
Desk Concerts that feature many well-known
groups of different genres and have an intimate

For each event, a 300-word (12 pt. font, double
Spaced; around one to two pages) review may be
written in terms of the following criteria: the style
or genre of the music; the setting, programming
and pace of the event; the relationship among
the performers on stage; the relationship
between the performer(s) and the audience; and
your reaction to the event presented. Each
critique will be graded on grammar, style, and
thought.
