Each student must visit a long-term care facility in his or her own community. This could be a Nursing Home, Skilled Facility, Hospice Facility, or Assisted Living (somewhere, that you can observe, patients, staff and the care given.) Obtain an appointment to interview an employee of the facility, preferably the Administrator, Social Worker, or Case Manager, asking them the questions that you created in week one.
