The project report shall consist of the following:

1. Executive Summary

Write a one to the two-page summary that informs the reader about the contents and

major outcomes of the report.

2. Introduction 

Briefly describe the organization or business that you are studying. Succinctly

present the objective of your project and state the content items to be presented

in the report.

3. Analysis of the Current Process

Describe the overall view of the process – Raw materials, Storage, Final product,

Warehousing, customers, etc. of the organization. Examine the critical factors

influencing the supply chain. The factors may be customers, suppliers,

producers, distribution channels, competitors, and so on. Also, describe the

methodology used to measure performance.

4. Problem statement 

Briefly state what are the existing problems and weaknesses in the current

process. Be precise and clear.

5. Possible Solutions 

For the problem you have stated, describe how can the process be improved/

restructured. How can the solution provide a long-term solution for the current

weakness? Provide a rationale for your solution and be thorough about solutions

that are proposed.

6. Summary 

Summarize your project in 2-3 paragraphs. Briefly describe what you did, how

you did it, the major problem(s), and the solutions proposed.

7. References 

List references (if any) that you may cited in your report.
