I am very passionate about a non-profit organization that I am a part of the Parent-Teacher Association that is known as PTA. This is my second term as PTA Vice-President. We are a very active PTA organization. Last year we held several successful events. I was selected to become a member of the school PTA, and this year I am Vice-President again of the PTA. One major problem our school is having is parent involvement. When a school has 650 + students, there should not be only 10 parents that help and organize things, for the kids. This problem needs to be addressed or the PTA members will become overwhelmed and eventually there will be no PTA. Addressing this issue will allow PTA members to delegate assignments so that there is not much stress on PTA members when hosting special events. When there is more parent involvement this will allow more fundraisers for the school.
