In your own words, discuss what is meant by operant conditioning.  In your opinion, can the principles of operant conditioning be used to explain many types of behavior?  Explain your viewpoint, providing at least two (2) examples of operant conditioning that has occurred in your own life (or in the life of someone you know).  In discussing your examples, be sure to use the appropriate terminology to describe the specific stimuli and responses involved. 

Often times we use schedules of reinforcement in our everyday lives and are not aware of it.  Now, think about and share a schedule of reinforcement that is present in your life or the life of someone you know. How do you think this schedule of reinforcement influences your behavior?  Please share the details of the real-life example.
