For the assignment you are required to write a reflective essay about geography, or world regional geography in particular. What is it? Why is it important or interesting to you? Or why is it boring and irrelevant to you? Why is it worthwhile to understand the world we live in and the way people live? What have you learned this quarter? Basically, anything that relates to geography in general, or this class, or the world itself, is fair game for this essay. Think about it, organize your thoughts, and then write something that is reflective, creative, and relevant. That's it.

The essay you turn in will be 600-1200 words (2-4 full pages, double spaced), formatted as follows:

- your name in the upper left hand corner of the first page;

- the course number/title single spaced beneath your name;

- double space to the first line of text;

- use 1 inch margins on all sides and a 12 point font

- double space the text of your essay
