  • What was the most compelling for you in this week's material?
    • Summarize the components of your evaluation plan, including key effect and process measures.
      • What kinds of issues did you run into when constructing your evaluation plan?
      • Are the activities needed for your evaluation included in your budget? (Revise if not!)
      • Looking at your change model and your program model, did you have to change anything around in order to make it evaluable?
    • What are your main take-aways about the value of evaluation?
    • What do you want feedback on prior to your Evaluation and Implementation paper due on Sunday?

Note: Please review and respond to your classmates' work! The idea is to get the chance to improve based on feedback.

e-Portfolio Assignment: Ensuring Success and Gathering Feedback (Evaluation Plan)

This week's e-Portfolio assignment is to construct and represent an evaluation plan, which is a critical part of any program plan. All stakeholders will have an interest in whether your program is effective and/or whether it can be successfully implemented in your environment.

  1. Find the "Evaluation Plan" page in your e-Portfolio template (sub-page under "Program Plan").
  2. Edit the page to include the following information:
    1. Your key effect and process evaluation measures
    2. An explanation about what your measures will tell you
    3. A description of how you plan to collect those measures (basic method, at what time points, etc)
    4. A description of how you will share your evaluation findings with your key stakeholder audiences. Think about who would want to know what, and tell your stakeholders what they can be assured they will be informed about.
