What is a cause marketing campaign?

A cause marketing campaign refers to a for-profit company's act of promoting and advertising of a specific products or services for the benefit to a non-charitable organization or cause. An example of this kind of marketing strategy is when businesses promote their products and services to the public, and all or at least a part of the profit earned will be donated to charitable organizations or other social causes which the business actually supports. Majority of business executives believes that this is a valid marketing strategy.
