Think of an unhelpful repetitive pattern or unresolved challenge in an organisation you are familiar with (or in your own work). Using Post-it notes, create a visual map of all the elements (people, concepts, roles, departments, etc. – including a marker for the challenge itself) that are part of the system in which this challenge/pattern exists. Using this map as a bird’s eye view, reflect on the challenge seen in this systemic context.
