In this activity, you will use a sheet of paper and draw a metaphor for a cell.Your metaphor must include the following organelles:Accompanying this drawing you should have a table showing each organelle and a description of the metaphor.You may choose the plant or animal cell.

Write up: You will create a write up for each organelle describing its function and explaining why it is like your metaphor.

Ex: The cell membrane is like the door of a factory. The cell membrane is the outer lining of the cell. It surrounds it and controls what comes in and out. It is like the doors and wall of a factory because the doors and walls of a factory contain the factory and the doors lets things like workers and raw materials into the factory. The doors also let things such as workers and finished product out of the factory.
