Why can't GDP per capita grow indefinitely nor is it desirable?(What are the limitations and why is it undesirable?) According to the material covered at the beginning of the course, there is a difference between true development and economic growth. Explain this difference between the two (true development and economic growth) giving examples and explanations to make your poi. Using the information you studied in this course, explain also, why measuring wellbeing with the growth of per capita income (GDP) as the only important measurement of development is inappropriate. What are the other measurements considered to be better indicators of true development discussed in this course? Explain why they are believed to be better indicators.
