Mr Harmsworth's attorney, Hugh Dumas, has filed the Petition for Dissolution of Marriage and has contacted our office to accept Service of Process. Your boss, Mr. Cheatham, informed you that will we accept service, but he also wants to send over an offer letter as well. Mr. Cheatham wishes you to draft a letter to Mr. Dumas accordingly.
I need a letter to Mr. Dumas' office informing them that we will accept service. Furthermore, following a demand letter format, we wish to let Mr. Dumas know that we intend to set aside the Prenuptial Agreement as state our reasoning(s) for doing so using the results of your research. Include in the demand letter, that we will agree to a simplified dissolution of marriage and will settle the whole matter for an agreement of $50,000 in lump sum alimony and $5,000 in attorney's fees.
This letter is to be prepared for and signed by Mr. Cheatham.
