You have been appointed as the Quality Manager of a company and have been asked to implement a quality management system compliant with ISO 9001 into that (hypothetical) company. Once your planning is completed, you have been given 6 months to implement the system.

The task:

Develop a report which details your plans and activities for achieving the task set for you.

To aid any discussion in your report, you need to choose a specific industry and show how you could apply the requirements of ISO 9001 to a hypothetical company that is in that industry sector.

Your answer must demonstrate that you understand how those requirements of the ISO 9001 standard are applied. It must also include any aspects of change management that you consider would be necessary to implement the program and must be supported by literature references. At least 5 of the references must be journal articles, preferably quite recent ones since 2000.
