For any victimization, sexual victimization, peer and sibling victimization, and polyvictimization, higher Anglo orientations were associated with a decreased risk of victimization, but only when Latino orientations were high as opposed to low. These are bicultural youth who are demonstrating aspects of both Anglo and Latino orientations, and this finding echoes a long line of work in cultural adaptation and health and well-being but one that has not been thoroughly explored in connection with victimization."
